The CCM Spitfire series — including the Bobber variant — was developed by a small, passionate team within CCM Motorcycles known as SkunkwerX. The idea was to build a bike that combined handcrafted design and performance without the constraints often found in big factory projects — much like the original Skunk Works concept in aviation where engineers work on dream projects with creative freedom.
 
The result is a machine with character and craftsmanship at its core — a blend of classic British motorcycle ethos with modern engineering, not designed just to meet a class or category, but to be distinctive, engaging, and fun to ride.
