Rain Didn't Stop Play – June Sunset Ride-Out

The forecast wasn't looking promising.

At 6pm, a group of us stood in the Moonraker showroom watching the rain hammer down outside, wondering if our June sunset ride-out was about to be a complete washout. Fortunately, Norfolk had other ideas.

As departure time arrived, the skies began to clear and before long we were heading out into warm evening sunshine, making our way through the Norfolk countryside towards The Ship Inn at Mundesley.

The ride itself was fantastic. No rain, great roads, and plenty of smiles all round. When we arrived, we were treated to excellent fish and chips, cold drinks, and some surprisingly glorious sunshine overlooking the coast.

A huge thank you to everyone who turned up despite the weather forecast. The support for these ride-outs continues to amaze us, and it's the people who attend that make them such enjoyable evenings.

Of course, no ride-out story would be complete without a twist.

With the weather looking so good, a few of us decided to take the scenic route home and squeeze a few extra miles out of the evening. As it turned out, Norfolk had one last surprise waiting for us. We got absolutely soaked.

Still, when you're riding with good company, a little rain doesn't matter. The laughs were worth every drop and it rounded off another memorable Moonraker ride-out.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us. We can't wait to do it all again next month.
